Roadkill reactions to a poem

Was surfing the Net and up comes this poem titled DAD TO CHILD

Had inner reactions so -will put a line in quotations and my reaction below-

'You were born; I almost fainted,"

(I faint at the sight of blood)

"I was going to commission an artist to get you painted!"

(But I was fired from my job and anyway I couldn't find a tatoo guy to do a one month old)

"You brought me joy I cannot describe,"

(This backward country has laws against diddling kids,so can't write/talk about it)

"I am trying my best, but I am not really a scribe."
